IDCONSORTIUM supports the approval of the European FARM360TECH project, a pioneering initiative to accelerate the digital transformation of sustainable agriculture

The project was successfully prepared by IDCONSORTIUM, reinforcing our role as a trusted partner in high-impact European proposals.

With a total budget of €9.2 million, including €7.1 million in EU funding and €2.1 million in Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP), FARM360TECH positions itself as a flagship European project for smart, resilient, and sustainable agriculture.

FARM360TECH introduces a comprehensive 360-degree approach, combining traditional farming practices with next-generation Agriculture 5.0 tools. The project will support farmers facing critical challenges such as water scarcity, soil salinity, and pest pressure by deploying:

• Real-time monitoring systems
• Remote sensing and multispectral UAV imaging
• AI-driven decision support for irrigation, fertilisation, and pest control
• Digital twins to anticipate droughts, water needs, and pest outbreaks

These tools will enable farmers to reduce water consumption by up to 40% and improve crop quality by 30% in just two growing seasons.

European Living Labs to co-create solutions with farmers

FARM360TECH will establish Living Labs in:

• Apulia (Italy)
• Central Macedonia (Greece)
• Cyprus
• Andalusia (Spain)

These multi-actor environments will allow farmers, SMEs, researchers, and technology providers to jointly validate, adapt, and scale region-specific solutions. The project also connects less developed regions with leading agricultural hubs, such as Western Flanders (Belgium) and Attica (Greece), promoting knowledge transfer and broader EU value chain integration.

Boosting SMEs and strengthening agricultural value chains

The project will also support agrifood SMEs through:

• Tailored business and innovation models
• Access to advanced digital tools
• New market opportunities
• Integration into high-performance EU value chains

FARM360TECH bridges the gap between innovation and real-world adoption by deploying technologies from TRL6 to TRL8+ across Large-Scale Demonstrators (LSDs) in Europe, creating measurable environmental and economic benefits.

IDCONSORTIUM’s commitment to high-impact European innovation

The approval of FARM360TECH reflects IDCONSORTIUM’s expertise in designing competitive, high-quality European proposals aligned with the EU Green Deal and the Farm to Fork Strategy. We will continue supporting our partners in delivering transformative, sustainable, and scalable solutions for European agriculture.
