The RUSTICA project was featured at the DeSIRA Connect Days, which took place from 25th to 27th June 2024, in Bogotá, Colombia. This event, organized by the EU Delegation, brought together various EU-funded initiatives to discuss innovations in sustainable agriculture, with a strong focus on bioeconomy and organic fertilizers.
The RUSTICA project, which aims to convert organic residues into bio-based fertilisers, was well received, particularly due to the growing emphasis on bioeconomy in Colombia.
The event also served as a platform for international cooperation, highlighting the importance of aligning European projects with global agricultural challenges, particularly in regions like Latin America where sustainable farming practices are becoming increasingly critical. The RUSTICA project garnered significant attention during the event, especially among Colombian stakeholders.
