We are thrilled to announce that the SOILBIOMASS+ project, coordinated by the University of Reading with the support of IDConsortium, has been officially selected for funding under the Horizon Europe Mission “A Soil Deal for Europe” (HORIZON-MISS-2025-05-SOIL-07).
SOILBIOMASS+ aims to accelerate the sustainable use of biomass resources while improving soil health across European landscapes. Through a combination of co-creation in Living Labs, digital tools, and inclusive value chains, the project will deliver scalable solutions for climate-resilient soil and biomass systems.
Only one project was selected among several proposals submitted for this highly competitive topic, making this an especially meaningful achievement for the entire consortium.
“We are proud to have contributed to shaping such a strong and impactful proposal. Our sincere thanks to the University of Reading and all partners for their trust and collaboration” said Macarena Sanz, Founder and Director of IDConsortium.
The project is now entering the Grant Agreement Preparation phase and is expected to kick off in the coming months.
Stay tuned for updates as SOILBIOMASS+ takes root!
