The European Union’s LIFE Programme Info Days are scheduled to take place virtually from Tuesday, 23rd April, to Friday, 26th April, 2024. During this event, all LIFE Calls for proposals for 2024, which have already been published on the Funding & Tender Opportunities portal, will be revealed.

The LIFE Programme, a cornerstone of the EU’s efforts in environmental and climate action, offers a substantial budget of €5.4 billion for the period 2021-2027. Managed by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), it is divided into four sub-programs:

  • Nature and biodiversity
  • Circular economy and quality of life
  • Climate change mitigation and adaptation,
  • Clean energy transition.

The program for the four-day event will cover a range of topics essential for applicants, offering insights into call topics, application and evaluation processes, and financial aspects, alongside dedicated sessions for each sub-programme and more specific topics in parallel sessions.

The final day will include discussions on operating grants for non-profit entities, policy updates, and specific financial considerations related to operating grants.

Attendees at the virtual event will have access to networking opportunities, including bilateral virtual meetings with potential applicants and representatives of National Contact Points (NCPs). These meetings will run from 23rd April to 30th September 2024, allowing for in-depth discussions on project proposals and areas of expertise.
