To all of our clients and partners, two opportunities for your FP7 and Horizon 2020 projects!
Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE) has announced the opportunity for your entity/company to feature your Key Exploitable Result (KRE) on BlueInvest Project Pipeline, a list of innovative projects that is shaping the Blue Economy.
The BlueInvest Project Pipeline is, according to its website, a platform which consists “of innovative and scalable business ventures from traditional and emerging sectors of the maritime economy.” The platform is accessible among the BlueInvest Club of Investors and will be promoted at the upcoming 2021 European Maritime Days event held on 20-21 May. Selected by BlueInvest, eligible companies for inclusion should have a KRE of a TRL of 6 or more and have a high investment readiness. The platform also offers BlueInvest Readiness Assistance, an exclusive one-to-one coaching programme to a maximum of 25 companies with high potential for investment readiness.
If you are interested in these opportunities, please follow the instruction provided by the DG MARE:
Upload your relevant Key Exploitable Result(s) in the Horizon Results Platform (see instructions on how to do this here; you need your ECAS ID and password to access the EC’s Funding & Tenders Portal, and you must have Coordinator Contact (CoCo) or Participant Contact (PaCo) role in the project)
At a certain step, while filling the form, you will be asked to fill in a field called ‘Tags/Keywords’ (see here).
- If interested in being considered for the BlueInvest Project Pipeline, please make sure to add the following two exact keywords: ‘emff2021’, ‘missionOceansSeas’.
- If interested in only the showcasing of your project results to the mission objectives, please add the following keyword to your list: ‘missionOceansSeas’
- For those projects on the list who already have uploaded related results in the Horizon Results Platform, please revise them to take advantage of the new fields we have introduced in the Platform and, of course, to add the above keywords according to which initiative you would like to be considered for.
The deadline to upload relevant results is midnight 19th April.
For any questions, please contact us at EC-HORIZON-RESULTS-PLATFORM@ec.europa.eu.
A Key Exploitable Result (KER) is an identified main interesting result (as defined above) which has been selected and prioritised due to its high potential to be “exploited” – meaning to make use and derive benefits- downstream the value chain of a product, process or solution, or act as an important input to policy, further research or education.
In order for you to select and prioritise your results, we would recommend that you use the following criteria:
a) degree of innovation, b) exploitability and c) impact.
