Women TechEU Project Announces Open Call for Funding in 2024
With a focus on empowering women in the tech industry, this call aims to promote diversity and innovation in the European tech sector.
The Women TechEU project has officially launched its Open Call #1 for the HORIZON-EIE-2023-CONNECT-01 initiative, offering a unique opportunity for organizations to secure funding and support for their tech-related projects.
The Women TechEU project, funded by the European Union, aims to support women entrepreneurs in the tech industry and provide them with access to resources, networks, and funding opportunities. By fostering a supportive ecosystem for women in tech, the project seeks to drive innovation and diversity in the European tech landscape.
The project consortium, spanning the course of 2 years, will launch 4 calls for applications. Following a rigorous evaluation process, a total of 160 beneficiaries will be selected. Each beneficiary will receive €75.000 grants, which are non-dilutive finance, along with a personalized business development program. This program includes mentoring, coaching, and targeted training, among other tailored support options.
For organizations looking to make a difference in the tech sector and advance gender equality in technology, the Women TechEU Open Call #1 presents a valuable opportunity to secure funding and support for their projects.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Organizations must be women-led early-stage start-ups in deep tech.
- Applicants must be from the European Union and Horizon Europe associate countries.
- Projects in the early stages of development, generally preceding rapid growth.
- Projects that offer concrete solutions to societal problems through deep interaction with advanced technologies.
Budget:
Successful applicants will receive a grant of 75.000 € and access to a personalized business development program to support their growth
